The Bush Chapel, 120 seated

Open-sided timber, antique doors, a four-metre antique arbour and crystal chandeliers, with a roof overhead. Up to 200 with guests standing around it.

Two hundred square metres with an indoor bar, barn doors, a 20-metre deck, firepits and festoon lights. Tables and chairs for 140 are included.

So much more than one day

A Woods wedding is about so much more than one day. It’s about taking all your loved ones, all your favourites, away for a crazy cool holiday: forty acres in Tomerong, minutes from the water at Jervis Bay, with your family and friends staying on site at your venue.

Your guests arrive on the first afternoon and settle into the cottages and tents. There’s pizza in the Veggie Garden as the fairy lights come on, a ceremony in the Bush Chapel and a reception in the Wedding Shed. When the music stops, the party moves to the firepits. Then breakfast by the pool, with yoga and animal feeding for anyone who’s up for it.

No. A Woods wedding is the venue plus accommodation for up to 120 guests for two nights.
No. Food and drinks are in-house, with packages from grazing tables and canapés to a shared feast or three courses, and five or eight hour drinks packages or a bar tab.
Amplified music finishes at 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 10pm on other nights. That doesn’t mean the party is over: most guests go back to the cottages and gather around the firepits.
The venue doesn’t take individual payments. Many couples use Eventbrite for RSVPs and contributions.
Ask for a contract, sign it, and pay the $2,000 deposit.
Dogs under 20kg can stay in the cottages (not the tents), at $150 per dog, per cottage, per stay.
The chapel has a ramp, the Wedding Shed has accessible toilets, and the Flowerhouse cottage has a walk-in shower and wider hallways.
